We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join a new team at our brand new Community Supported Living Service Ivanhoe, based in Rotherham, S66 9EF.
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Hours: 20 per week.
The 24 hour CQC registered service will be home to 3 adults living with mental health, learning disabilities and autism diagnosis and is due to open in January 2025 - staff training is to commence prior to opening. The team will provide various support to ensure the service users can live as independently as possible, engage with the local community and help them to engage in an active life, retain personal autonomy, social identity, meaning, purpose and achieve a positive sense of self.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently both at home and out in the community. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Medication assistance
2. Accessing the community
3. Domestic tasks
We're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

Qualifications
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
