Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Representative (TSR) / Support Engineer to join our dynamic team, maintaining and troubleshooting cutting-edge systems in gas turbine engine test facilities.
As a TSR, you'll play a pivotal role in providing top-notch customer support while leading issue resolution and mitigating technical risks. This position requires a versatile skill set, where the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing, supervising, and consistently enhancing adherence to ISO accreditation. This primarily entails focusing on the technical proficiency of the calibration process.

What you'll be doing:
1. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and troubleshoot systems in Gas Turbine engine test facilities.
2. Handle the day-to-day requirements of the customer with respect to the supplied system, track ongoing problems and provide feedback to the customer and design authorities.
3. Design, implement and use tools and systems to monitor system performance and reliability.
4. Perform system troubleshooting for software at the application level and hardware to assembly level.
5. Perform required system calibration and hardware maintenance.
6. Ensure traceability of the hardware inventory and hardware configuration control.
7. Provide feedback to the hardware and software design departments regarding features of current and proposed systems.
8. Continually monitor the support process and suggest/implement improvements wherever possible.
9. Maintain and manage critical spares for all system hardware.
10. Suggest preventative actions, create workarounds and provide solutions to system problems.
11. Troubleshoot instrumentation related to the measurement of numerous parameters such as temperature, pressure, frequency, strain, vibration, and flow.
12. Willing and able to work as a team member on a 24/7 shift pattern.
What'll help your success?
1. Minimum of 9+ years experience working with electronics, instrumentation, and/or control systems.
2. Understanding of the principles of calibration & measurement systems.
3. Working knowledge of Data acquisition systems.
4. Engineering degree/HND in Engineering or relevant experience considered.
