Accounts Assistant – Cookstown - £30,000
Working with a successful company based in Cookstown, we are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers excellent progression opportunities and autonomy over your work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, expenses, and transactions.
2. Processing payments, invoices, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
3. Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
5. Administration tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing vehicles.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
2. 2+ experience in an accounting or finance role.
3. Competent IT skills and experience working with accounting software is essential.
Work Environment:
The role is office-based, with standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
