A chef de partie is required for a Kitchen within driving distance of Newcastle. The role starts as a chef de partie, progressing to a Junior sous chef position within 3-6 months. The starting salary is £28k, increasing once developed. Straight shifts of 12noon to 9:30pm. Responsibilities include running a kitchen section, setting up for service, and cooking in service. The role involves normal chef de partie duties, progressing to junior sous chef duties after 3-6 months. Leadership skills and natural kitchen management skills are required. The ideal candidate has experience as a chef de partie and wants to develop to the junior sous chef level.
