The post is within the Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Department of Clinical Neuropsychology. We have strong links with the King's College London Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN) and other local clinical neuropsychology services within Kings Health Partners.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
1. Doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology.
2. HCPC registered clinical psychologist.
Desirable Criteria
1. Further specialist training in clinical neuropsychology e.g. knowledge component of the QiCN.
Experience
Essential Criteria
1. Advanced level knowledge of at least two models of psychological therapy and knowledge of the theoretical and evidence base for them.
2. Experience of post qualification psychological work with clients with a range of psychological needs of a complex nature.
3. Experience of developing and providing teaching and training to psychologists and other professional groups.
Knowledge
Essential Criteria
1. Advanced knowledge of psychological assessment and clinical neuropsychological assessment.
2. Advanced level knowledge of at least two models of psychological therapy and knowledge of the theoretical and evidence base for them.
