They are responsible for overseeing assigned work portfolios. Ensuring payments are received prior to becoming overdue and collecting monies owed when needed on delinquent accounts. SCOPE : - Showcases collection background & knowledge - Has developed expertise in a variety of work processes through job-related training - Generates new and innovative solutions to complex problems, and proposes improvements to processes - Works autonomously within established procedures and practices PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Monitoring portfolio to ensure timely payments to support quarterly cash targets - Sends follow-up letters and accepts payment on certain accounts - Input information through data software systems to accurately reflect account activity & resolve account discrepancies and balances - Responds to inquiries from customers - Maintains AR platforms by entering, updating, and retrieving data as well as formatting and generating reports. - Evaluates new and existing customer creditworthiness; extends and/or revokes credit lines/limits. - Receives/places calls or send letters to customers to resolve billing or invoice issues on delinquent accounts - Reviews and makes recommendations regarding bad debt or write-offs LI-CB1 Xerox is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
