Role Overview: As the Sales Director for Fund Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of services across the UK and Europe. You will focus primarily on acquiring new business, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and helping private equity and private credit clients navigate their fund administration needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in financial services and a deep understanding of the private equity and private credit markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Drive the growth of the business by identifying and securing new clients within the private equity and private credit sectors across the UK and Europe.
* Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with senior executives, institutional investors, and key decision-makers within target markets.
* Market Strategy: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to position our fund services as the solution of choice in a competitive market.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and product development to tailor our offerings to meet the unique needs of clients.
* Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track pipeline activity, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
* Industry Insight: Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to position our services effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
* MUST have extensive experience in a sales leadership or business development role within fund services, private equity, or private credit.
* Proven success in generating new business and growing revenue in a competitive, complex environment.
* Strong understanding of the private equity and private credit landscape, including market trends and challenges.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and institutional investors.
* Experience in managing large-scale sales processes from lead generation to closing.
* Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., French, German) would be an advantage.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
