About the role
The Field Sales team is a core part of Dyson’s Sales Department. As an Area Manager, you will drive product sales and increase brand awareness within retail stores. This role offers a potential first step into leadership and relationship-building opportunities.
Based regionally, you will collaborate closely with Account Managers, Marketing, and Finance teams to implement Dyson’s sales strategy in your area.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales growth: Develop and increase Dyson product sales in your region by identifying opportunities and setting short-term goals. Expand Dyson’s presence in the independent sector and manage distribution.
* Operational management: Maintain call schedules, manage budgets, own profit/loss targets, and oversee store compliance and merchandising standards.
* Relationship building: Build effective relationships with store managers, regional managers, and key influencers. Conduct product training and negotiate additional display space.
* Performance analysis: Analyze area performance, develop sales plans, and ensure targets are exceeded.
Team Management
* Lead, motivate, and develop demonstrators to meet sales targets.
* Conduct store visits, coaching, and performance reviews.
* Manage HR processes, recruitment, and team administration.
Store Compliance & Brand Advocacy
* Ensure retail stores are merchandised correctly and displays are maintained.
* Train staff on Dyson products to increase brand awareness and advocacy.
Additional Responsibilities
* Support the National Customer Management Team with reports and feedback.
* Participate in meetings and complete administrative tasks.
* Be flexible with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.

* Broad business knowledge and experience with retail or beauty brands.
