The successful candidate will engage with and extend the work of the Department’s Geography teaching staff. The successful applicant will be dynamic and enthusiastic with the ability to inform and inspire students, with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
Job Description
Applicants should demonstrate appropriate expertise in geographic information systems (GIS) related to the main teaching areas of the post, which is a MSc course (GG5565 Introduction to GIS tools, techniques, cartography and geovisualisation). The teaching for this course will involve lectures and computer practical exercises.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £37,999 per annum pro rata to £18,999.50 per annum. The post will last for 6 months.
This post does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post that require sponsorship to work in the UK.
