Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience + up to 20% annual bonus + benefits

We are an ambitious team with a pretty big ‘to-do list’ including improving existing products, building new ones and delivering to new markets.
Requirements
We are looking for a Technical Scrum Master to join and develop our software teams and play a crucial role in delivering world-class financial software for our partners and clients. In this role you will play a critical part in delivering high quality features and fostering a delivery focused and collaborative team ethos. This is an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to driving excellence in software development.
Responsibilities
Delivery
* Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team.
* Facilitate the delivery process within your teams, collaborating with Product Owners to identify and plan high-value deliverables, ensuring their successful execution.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and agile practices, embodying the spirit of agile methodologies.
* Use of Kanban and other Agile frameworks (LeSS) to empower cross team collaboration working on a single product.
* Proactively identify and address issues, risks and blockers.
* Communicate timelines and commitments effectively to stakeholders.
* Redistribute tasks among team members to promote growth, balance, and scalability.
People
* Take ownership of the well-being and career development of each team member.
* Mentor and coach team members on agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* The ability to proactively manage conflict ensuring a healthy level to create active collaboration.
* Provide mentoring and coaching focused on culture and delivery excellence.
* Identify training needs for future skill development and planning.
* Conduct regular structured 1-2-1s to set personal objectives and goals.
* Proactively manage performance and motivation within your teams.
Technical
* Solid technical background in software engineering, with familiarity in languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
* Ability to read, understand, and review code when necessary.
* Ensure that software is developed to the agreed-upon standards of quality.
* Although this role is technical it’s not expected to be hands-on.
