Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the North West Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (NWNODN) as a Education Project Manager. The purpose of this role, is to provide support to the NWNODN's Education Team in line with the Education Strategy and to achieve the work programme through the management of Education projects, the Foundation in Neonates programme (FiN) and the leading and oversight of NWNODN Events alongside the Programme Administrator.
The post holder will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use their own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation. The post holder will work with the minimum of supervision and will be expected to have a high level of autonomy.
This post is predominantly a remote working role, with some expectation to travel across the North West as required.
The post holder will also be project managing some of the NWNODN's strategic projects and will lead on successful delivery of our work programme. The successful candidate will be flexible, versatile, organised and well-motivated with a professional and mature approach. The successful post holder will have excellent communication skills and be able to both lead and work well within post holder will work with the minimum of supervision and will be expected to have a high level of autonomy.
Main duties of the job
1. To provide high level project and administration support to Education Team to support the achievement of the Education Strategy. and Work Programme including embedded teaching programmes such as Foundation in Neonates (FiN) course
2. Develop close working relationships with the Senior Clinical Educator, Medical Education Lead and the Workforce and Education Lead Nurses, working collaboratively to achieve the Education Strategy and Work Programme
3. Attend relevant Education meetings, documenting minutes and actions. To lead on co-ordination and follow up of actions
4. Support processes to enable smooth running of the NWNODN Education Programmes
5. Lead on the oversight of NWNODN Events coordination and planning; development of faculty team, attendance at faculty meetings, tracking of budget, monitoring of master spreadsheet.
6. Lead on updating and maintenance of the Neonatal Learning Platform and provide support for the delivery of teaching sessions on using this platform,, remote FiN teaching sessions.
7. In collaboration with the Education Team ensuring the Education content on the NWNODN website is up to date
8. Support with report writing.
9. Have an awareness of, providing project support as appropriate,, national programmes of work relating to education.

17. Provide and receive complex information
18. Present complex information which may be sensitive in nature to a range of stakeholders
19. Persuade stakeholders of the importance of the NWNODN Education Strategy and work programme working with stakeholders and neonatal services on delivery and roll out of education projects.
20. Link in with other regions where necessary to support the impact of the project and also lessons learned.
21. Communicate confidently to staff of all levels, both clinical and non-clinical staff
22. Organisation and creation of working groups in relation to Events and Education projects and to lead on meetings effectively.
23. Communicate professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders including network members, all 22 units, the general public and all internal and external agencies both verbally and non-verbally in a timely manner.
24. Liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff to resolve any issues that may arise, to the mutual benefit of all concerned.

34. Plan and organise a range of complex activities in relation to both Education and project management.
35. Adjust project plans to initiate projects, and make adjustments if projects are off track
36. Adjust plans/strategies where necessary and resolve any issues to meet project standards and ensure project delivery.
37. Undertake a lead role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality Education support
38. Co-ordinate investigations and follow up on network actions. Establish a clear audit trail to ensure actions have been dealt with.
39. Adapt a flexible attitude to meet the needs of the Network, taking into consideration each regions unique perspective.
40. Plan and coordinate Education activity across the Northwest arrangement of meetings, tracking of attendance at meetings etc
41. With oversight from the Senior Clinical Educator and the Medical Education Lead take responsibility for updating and maintaining the NWNODN Education and Events Calendar
