We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join a small residential service in Farnham. This home provides care and support for children up to the age of 18 and is currently supporting two young people.
Salary: Up to £33,500 + £50 per sleep-in (minimum 1 per week)
Location: Farnham
About the role: You will play a key role in supporting children and young adults, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a caring and supportive environment where your skills and experience will be valued.
Hours: A combination of early shifts (7.30 - 15.00), late shifts (14.00 - 23.00), long days (7.30 - 23.00), and sleep-in (23.00 - 7.30).
Senior Support Worker Requirements:
1. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., a degree in Health and Social Care) or currently working towards it.
2. Driving Licence: A full, clean driving licence is essential; candidates without one will not be considered.
3. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting is required.
4. Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to mentor and support others.
