A quick look at the role.
To support site management in the day-to-day management/supervision of the facility and its teams in achieving its targets and goals.
The shifts are 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
Your core responsibilities:
* Ensure Health & Safety standards, policies, and procedures are observed, maintained, and reviewed.
* Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
* Monitor and assist shift performance and disciplines.
* Promote and manage change.
* Maintain Health & Safety standards and performance on site.
* Supervise the day-to-day running of the Material Recycling Facility.
* Deputise in the absence of the Senior Production Supervisor.
* Assist the team in the achievement of the site's KPIs.
Our essential requirements:
* Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
* Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
* Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable).
* Previous management/supervisor experience of working with large teams predominantly in Production/Manufacturing environments (Essential).
* A general understanding of engineering/mechanical principles (Desirable).
