National Grid is hiring a Personal Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Head of Communications & Brand.
As a PA, you will undertake full diary management for the Head of Communications & Brand by managing their daily schedule.
If you have previous experience as a PA, are flexible, and extremely organised, we would love to hear from you!
This role can be based from our London office (located at the Strand) or our Warwick office, and you can enjoy hybrid working from the office and home.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide general administrative support to the Head of Communications & Brand (e.g., organise and summarise papers and reports in preparation for meetings)
* Undertake full diary management of the Head of Communications & Brand by managing their daily schedule
* Manage requests to the Head of Communications & Brand (mail, calls, visits, and others) by drafting responses and redirecting as appropriate to ensure time is managed effectively
* Co-ordinate full and complex travel and itinerary arrangements (both UK and overseas engagements) for the Head of Communications & Brand as well as their direct reports when required
* Co-ordinate and arrange large scale events on behalf of Corporate Affairs
About you
* A successful track record in providing an efficient and comprehensive PA/Secretarial service to Senior Managers
* Experience of liaising with senior members of staff, internally and externally
* Ability to work to tight timescales and deal diplomatically with confidential material
* Excellent IT skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs including Excel
* Experience of managing and producing Purchase Orders (PO)
* Planning & organising skills

What you'll get
A competitive salary between £34,000 - £43,000 - dependent on capability.
