What To Expect This role will be part of the MLA BiW Reliability Department, responsible for the delivery of Reliability growth across MLA BiW operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the facility performs in line with installed design Technical Availability, developing and implementing Reliability growth plans, focusing on a level of continuous improvement to support Maintenance Operations. In your role you will be required to liaise with key stakeholders from within the JLR and OEM community Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Ensure that MTTR and MTBF data is available and analysed to deliver Technical Availability improvements in line with Maintenance KPI’s Implement Reliability growth plans to support Technical Availability improvement Support the development of condition based monitoring and Predictive strategies for Body Construction Manufacturing systems Ensure PM schedules are adhered to, analysed and backed up with R&M data Working with the AME and maintenance teams to develop, propose and implement R&M data collection and tracking systems What You'll Need Knowledge of Maintenance Operations Knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability principles Led Technical improvement activities through Kaizen approaches Technical (mechanical and electrical) automotive engineering skills, ideally in a large, automated environment Demonstrable experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving and continuous improvement initiatives We work hard to nurture a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
