Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays, with rotating weekend call-out cover.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance will ensure the continuous functioning of our production processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities on packaging machinery and equipment.
2. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify faults, and implement prompt repairs.
3. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
4. Collaborate with the production team to understand and address machinery performance issues.
5. Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inventory.
7. Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, advances in technology, and best practices in maintenance engineering.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong technical knowledge of packaging machinery and equipment.
3. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
4. Proficient in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
5. Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule or weekends, if required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
2. Professional certifications or licenses in maintenance engineering preferred.
