Assist in the induction, training, and ongoing development of staff, fostering a strong and cohesive team. Maintain a warm, safe, and stable home environment that promotes the well-being and development of the children. Ensure that all care plans, reports, and documentation are accurate and up to date. Manage any performance issues within the team, promoting positive communication and problem-solving. Take on sleep-in duties and participate in on-call responsibilities on a regular basis to ensure 24-hour care. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in shift or team leading within a residential care setting Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and complex health needs (desirable) Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). A strong commitment to maintaining a high standard of care and creating a supportive, nurturing environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
