SLC have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to join our Mobility Services department within the Technology Group here at SLC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing third party relationships, strategic planning and correct implementation, approval and governance of infrastructure environment change process. You will also have senior responsibilities within a team of engineers including guidance, mentoring and development. In this role you will also provide, support and maintain all components and management of virtual and physical server infrastructure environments. The role will involve working closely with Lead Infrastructure and other senior infrastructure engineers to ensure the Wintel team is functioning effectively to support SLC’s customers and staff. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. What you bring: Extensive experience in managing and supporting mission-critical systems within large-scale Microsoft environments, including multiple domain infrastructures Proficiency with Microsoft Server OSs, Citrix technologies, VMware, SCOM, SCCM, and understanding of ITIL Change Process Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively across all organisational levels Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think critically and conceptually Customer-oriented approach with flexibility and initiative to serve as a go-to person for Platform Engineering technologies in both project and operational contexts You can expect more from a career with SLC.
