Job Title: Information Security/Digital Tutor
Location: Home-based (England) with travel
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Our BSI Training Academy has seen impressive growth over the last few years and as we continue to grow in our digital space, we are looking for a talented, customer-focused individual to support our Tutor Delivery Team specialising in Information and Digital Security.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and engaging delivery of our learning material to delegates which cover our Information and Digital Security portfolio.
You will deliver both in face to face and virtual classroom environments, using accelerated learning techniques and proven online delivery approaches.
You'll need to be client-focused, creative and, solutions-orientated, to enable you to best support our clients in their learning and development pathway.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Deliver impactful and insightful learning experiences to accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of individual learners.
2. Inform and update customers of BSI services to ensure their learning needs are met during training sessions.
3. Support with content creation and new learning materials to improve the quality and range of the training offered.
4. Proactively engage with peers and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of excellence for training delivery.
5. Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplines to keep up to date in own area of expertise.
6. Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process.
To be successful in the role, you should possess the following:
7. Practical industry experience and a comprehensive knowledge of ISO 27001 (Information Security).
8. A understanding or working knowledge of Cyber Security, Digital Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
9. Knowledge of other ISO management systems such as Business Continuity Management Systems are desirable.
10. Demonstrable experience in Training Needs Analysis along with subsequent design and delivery of training solutions.
11. Lead Auditor experience (ISO 27001)
12. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication
13. The ability to command and engage a class room
