The role is very fast-paced and provides essential support to the HRBP and wider HR and management teams with 1st line HR queries. Working closely with the HRBP, General Managers, and senior leadership teams, you will ensure day-to-day management and support is available to employees on-site. You will seek guidance from the HRBP or specialists as required to ensure the business operates in a safe, fair, and consistent manner.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to travel to the company's sites in the region when required, to meet and build relationships with the senior leadership teams to understand their requirements. Flexibility to travel is therefore needed.
You will be keen to throw yourself into this role and provide support on a number of HR project-related tasks. As an individual, you will be proactive, resilient, and self-motivated with a positive mindset, highly personable, diplomatic, professional, and possess exceptional communication skills. A pragmatic, hands-on approach will be required. Level 3 CIPD as a minimum is required, and preference will be given to candidates that are degree educated.
Additional duties will include screening and recommending candidates for shortlisting, understanding blue-collar and white-collar recruitment trends, and being creative in looking at ways to attract talent. You will need to be familiar with managing the recruitment process from beginning to end, and there will also be an element of coaching recruiting managers on effective induction and onboarding processes.
