An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding marketing team at Cutwel, the UK’s leading independent B2B engineering tool supplier. The successful candidate will have a clear focus on executing the company’s product marketing strategy which involves enriching and merchandising our existing range, whilst driving new products to market. You will closely work with the senior marketing team and the product growth specialist to ensure products are optimised across all the businesses channels including the ecommerce website which hosts over 100,000 parts across various categories. Full product and systems training will be provided upon joining the business to ensure you are in the best position to market the product range efficiently and effectively. Areas of Responsibility Execute digital campaigns where you will strategically optimise and merchandise focused product ranges to ensure maximum impact in the market Enrich product information across the businesses data channels to a consistently high standard Plan and deliver new product launch campaigns in line with the marketing roadmap Prepare data import spreadsheets to add or amend product information on the website Work alongside the product growth specialist to develop and maintain the quality and high standards of product information required for external channels Liaise with suppliers to request any product information and/or marketing assets required Occasionally create visual assets to enhance the appeal and improve user experience of a product range via the ecommerce website Occasionally design and send marketing emails to support the promotion of the digital campaigns Occasionally create content for other marketing channels further the exposure of any digital campaigns such as social media, blogs, SEO Use analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and report back to the senior team Support the marketing department on any other activities that may be required Key Skills and Experience Preferred Has a formal level of education in a marketing/business related subject (degree preferred) Previous experience in an office based marketing role (graduate/junior role is acceptable) Strong IT skills in particular with Microsoft Excel, experience in data formatting/processing Experience in the Adobe Creative suite or similar Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Results driven individual who takes pride in their work and values success An even balance of maintaining high attention to detail and working with a sense of urgency Ability to multi-task and prioritise work accordingly Good level of written English Benefits Include Company bonus when completed 3 months’ probation 23 days paid holiday per year bank holidays Opportunities for progression Health benefit scheme Income protection scheme Company pension plan Free on-site parking Continuous training Referral programme Company events (summer and end of year) Department budget for celebrations/social activities/team building Complementary light refreshments (hot and cold drinks/fruit)
