As a Workday Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for helping achieve the vision of helping our customers tackle their most challenging projects and reimagining how organisations operate in the digital age.
You will achieve this by driving new business growth within the region, delivering the business development strategy, achieving set targets, and building a team recognised as the best in the sector.

Key responsibilities will include:
Developing as a business: You will build and maintain a rich pipeline of opportunities across your region, enabling you to forecast accurately for future quarters, achieve agreed-upon sales targets, and maintain predictability of future revenue.
Providing Business Development Leadership - You’ll manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff, focusing on pipeline management, CRM Hygiene, and forecast accuracy. You'll also manage employee performance and assist in their career development.
Pipeline Generation - utilising best industry practices and processes, you will develop sector/region-specific prospect and account plans and lead pursuit teams (where applicable) to develop pipelines and deliver revenue.
Trusted Advisor - you will be expected to apply a consultative selling approach based on properly understanding our customers and their challenges/opportunities. Empathy, active listening, responsiveness, and creativity all play a part here.
Putting deals together – these deals will need to meet sales, revenue, and profitability objectives and ensure that the work contracted is compatible with our strategy and goals.
Building and developing strategic partnerships—You will build and maintain successful partnerships with other businesses in our ecosystem to position us as a trusted go-to partner and continually add value.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in delivering and/or selling digital services of scale and complexity (£multi-million) for at least five years in a previous role
* Proven track record of exceeding targets, opening new markets, and maximising growth opportunities that align with strategic goals
* Expert in the business development process and deal commercials, including constructing complex commercial offers, with a demonstrated ability to:
* Create business development strategies and account plans that ensure success in winning £ multi-million deals, recognising that such a campaign may need to be built up over an extended period and deliver against quarterly and annual targets
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
* A demonstrated ability in managing, mentoring and coaching a sales team and wider
* Excellent negotiation skills, both from a commercial and contract perspective, as well as resolving escalations and diffusing issues
* Expert networking skills and the ability to build strong and appropriate relationships with senior stakeholders
DESIRABLE:
* ERP Industry knowledge, specifically Workday, is highly desirable.
