The Lexcel-accredited Legal Team provides legal advice, assistance and support to Council officers, elected members and external clients at all levels. We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our friendly team. Reporting to the Business Manager - Registrars, Public Protection, Legal & Democracy the post holder will provide administrative and clerical support to all teams within the service area. Tasks include: General office administration tasks (i.e. word processing, telephony, diary management, filing (at various Council sites), court bundle preparation) including the collection and processing of information for Officers within the Service Area (this may include tasks off-site where travel is required).
