Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to work within Forensic and Rehabilitation Services. This is a split post between Kedleston Unit, a low secure unit, and Cherry Tree Close, an open rehabilitation unit. These are settings where the contribution of psychology is valued by other clinicians and management. As a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will combine direct clinical work, supervision, training, consultation, research, and service evaluation/development.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and appreciative of the challenges of working with difficult to engage clients with complex mental health needs and forensic histories. You will be committed to multidisciplinary team working, have excellent relationship building skills, and be capable of managing varied work demands.
You would be joining a growing forensic service which is part of a large, Derbyshire-wide supportive Clinical Psychology service with excellent opportunities.
Informal enquiries are very welcome.
