We'd love to hear from you About the role An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Governance & Reporting Manager within HL's Digital organisation. This new role will be responsible for ensuring that Digital has appropriate governance and accurate reporting in place to provide insight and drive effective decision making. Reporting to the Senior Governance & Reporting Manager, this role will support the creation and embedding of a Governance & Reporting Centre of Excellence, working closely with stakeholders across various teams throughout Digital and the wider business. What you'll be doing Gather, analyse, and interpret data related to our digital governance and risk management activities. Design and develop a suite of dashboards and visualisations to track performance metrics and offer real-time insights to stakeholders. Produce regular, timely reports that are accurate, insightful and actionable that drive business outcomes. Analyse trends and patterns to provide insights, supporting leadership in proactive risk management and strategic planning. Ensure the highest level of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports, monitoring data sources and addressing discrepancies as they arise. Establish and maintain data validation processes to support accurate and reliable reporting. Ensure that reports are of a high quality and comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. Support the curation of Digital's frameworks, policies, standards and procedures; ensuring artefacts, templates and repositories are owned, accurate and maintained. Collaborate with senior leadership, digital teams and the wider business, to gather requirements and design reports that meet the organisation's needs and expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for reporting processes, focusing on automation, optimisation, and innovation to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. About you Strong technical proficiency in using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, SQL or Excel to manipulate, query, and present data. Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, ensuring reports are accurate and visually compelling. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting complex data to suit different stakeholder needs. Ability to work, and be resilient, in a fast paced and changeable environment. Flexible and adaptable; able to deliver and thrive in ambiguous situations. Proven experience of working in a complex regulated and/or technology environment, managing governance and creating, maintaining and delivering reports. Experience with risk management and compliance desirable. Interview process This will be a two-stage interview process consisting of technical and competency questions and an assessment task. Working Schedule This role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This is a permanent full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern of working in the office and at home. Why us?
