Purchasing Administrator Permanent Craigavon Hours of work Monday- Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services essential for our clients operations. This role requires strong negotiation skills, an understanding of supply chain systems, and experience with logistics management. The Purchaser will play a vital role in ensuring that our organisation maintains optimal inventory levels while adhering to budgetary constraints. Duties To provide full administration support to a busy purchasing department Process and record a large number of documents daily, including uploading purchase orders to project folders. To be responsible for all paperwork relating to incoming / outgoing deliveries including all necessary customs declarations To provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data / trends Completing new supplier vendor forms Maintain procurement systems and ensure compliance with the agreed procedures. Working as part of a team and on own initiative to ensure that all information is correct and accurate on all systems. Attending meetings, noting, and recording minutes of key discussions and decisions made. To maintain high standards of work within the department. Essential Good Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar administration role Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication & literacy skills.
