Job Description Act as a trusted partner to the South business leaders and team members. Provide advice to leaders on all aspects of the employment life-cycle including and not limited to attraction, hiring, on-boarding, learning and development, recognition, engagement, performance management, employee relations, safeguarding and retention. Provide leadership and guidance to the People Advisor - South, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Support and advise the Operational team in the South through the management of cases specifically with complex employee relation matters such as investigation, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, absence matters and welfare cases whilst assessing any potential risks to the business. Escalate and discuss all potential risks and complex cases to the Head of People prior to taking further action. Partner with L&D to ensure People Development is high on the agenda to support a learning culture and with the aim of driving succession planning for the region. Analyse regional annual engagement results and partner with leaders to create action planning to enhance engagement. Develop and facilitate pulse surveys as required. Ensure monthly people reports are created and shared with the Head of People and Senior leaders, highlighting any trends and themes.
