Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker on behalf of their client who are a well-known & established groundwork/ civil engineering subcontractor in Port Talbot about to start on major project. Due to the nature of our client's varied offering, no day is the same and all applicants must be open to taking on other roles to fulfil their service level agreement.
Expected hours: 40 - 50 hours per week.
You will require a flexible approach to working hours, as overtime (paid at premium rates) and holiday cover will be expected.
Role Purpose:
* To assist with day-to-day groundwork / civils tasks and reactive works.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working in groundworks / civils
* In-depth knowledge of groundworks processes and construction methods.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Valid CCNSG or ability to get it.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Full driving license.

* To be able to fit in and work with a well-established work group.
* Good customer and communication skills
* Conscientious
* Self-starter and be able to manage own workload whilst working to client service level agreement
* Punctual and reliable

* CPCS / NPORS machine tickets
