MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading toy company, on the search for Senior National Account Manager. This is a fully remote role.
As the Senior National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with national retail partners. You will lead and execute strategic plans that drive sales, product placements, and market share growth across multiple key accounts. This fully remote role requires a proven track record of success in the retail and toy industries, with a focus on creating mutually beneficial partnerships and maximising revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers at national retail accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail partners.
* Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives for each retail partner.
* Manage product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to maximize visibility, sales, and profitability across all accounts.
* Conduct in-depth market and sales analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to enhance product performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate sales forecasts, manage budgets, and track key performance metrics.
* Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and order fulfilment.
* Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, sales trends, and key initiatives to senior leadership.
What are we looking for?
* National account management experience, with a strong background in retail and the toy industry. A proven track record of growing national accounts and driving revenue growth.
* Deep understanding of the retail and toy markets, including key players, trends, and consumer behaviour.
* Strong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key retail partners and internal teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to inform decision-making.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, drive sales, and develop promotional strategies that enhance product visibility and drive consumer demand.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
