Job Description
The Sustainability & Decarbonisation Advisory is a Business Unit within AECOM’s Buildings and Places business line. We are recognised as industry leaders in the field of sustainable development. Our projects range from working with Governments to support Building Regulations and National planning policy relating to climate change, to developing energy and sustainability strategies to support our towns and cities in achieving their net zero ambitions.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and conducting environmental assessments of buildings focusing on LEED, but possibly BREEAM and WELL assessments.
2. Manage sustainability input and resources to achieve deliverables.
3. Presentations to clients and chairing meetings.
4. Delivering high quality, clearly written outputs.
5. Delegating work to junior staff and managing delivery.
6. Contribute to writing proposals and winning new work.
7. Building client relationships and delivering work.
8. Contribute to thought leadership and the continued growth of AECOM’s Sustainability & Decarbonisation Advisory.
9. Developing sustainability strategies to support building design teams and sustainability statements to support planning applications.
10. Contributing to a wide range of projects as the workload dictates.
Qualifications
Requirements:
1. Experience in LEED Building Design + Construction and / or LEED Interior Design and Construction.
2. An ability to communicate effectively, be client-facing and able to write concise and clear reports.
3. Experience in working with clients and project teams and managing projects.
Preferred Qualifications
A science, engineering or building-related degree. A LEED AP accreditation is desirable, but not necessary.
