The Specialist Medicine Care Group are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the team in the role of Care Group PA on a permanent contract. Specialist Medicine is a very diverse and exciting care group which covers 18 different specialist services including Endoscopy, Dermatology, Hepatology, Genetics and Managed care.
You would be joining and supporting a strong care group management team including a Care Group Manager, Care Group Clinical Lead, Matrons and Operations Manager. The role will involve working with a variety of specialist clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of this large department and ensuring that patient safety and experience are at the heart of all activities within this busy area.

What you’ll do:
1. Diary Management.
2. Assist with staff rostering, monitoring annual leave and sickness.
3. You will be involved in varied aspects of routine administration including filing, drafting correspondence and file management.
4. You will assist in organising events, planning projects, and arranging travel.
5. Organising meetings, agendas and minute taking.
6. Organising itineraries.
7. When required you will also assist the current team secretary/administrator to undertake day-to-day admin for the wider team.
What we’re looking for:
This is a busy role; the ability to prioritise and plan your time effectively is essential, along with enthusiasm, self-motivation and flexibility. You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills and minute-taking skills. Good IT skills are essential including working with online databases, excel spreadsheets, and preparing PowerPoint presentations. You will be exposed to confidential information; it is key you are sensitive to this.
