We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Evesham. You will be joining a team of 2 vets and 3 RVNs, along with a non-clinical support team.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is a purpose built large spacious practice with state-of-the-art facilities. they have 3 consulting rooms, one theatre, a diagnostic suite with digital x-ray and ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. They also have a separate dog and cat ward and isolation ward.
They are looking for a confident, enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who has solid medical and surgical skills. You ideally will have a good level of experience in abdominal surgeries. You will embrace all aspects of the role and play an integral part in the growth and development of the practice. The practice boasts an excellent local reputation. The vet will be committed to delivering excellent patient and client care.

About you:
You will be forward thinking, ambitious and motivated
You will be looking to move into a more senior role
Previous leadership experience not essential
Extensive experience in abdominal surgeries is advantageous but not essential
You will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations
You will enjoy leading by example and provide support and mentoring to team members
You will be happy with some sole charge work
You will have an approachable, empathetic and caring attitude
You will be passionate about all aspects of your veterinary work
You will be driven and ambitious
You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
You will be a strong team player

Package:
Salary: £45,000 to £75,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
