We're recruiting Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join the Buckinghamshire based team in improving services for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing. People with a backgrounds working as Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Social Workers are encouraged to apply!

Delivering a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for children, young people and their families who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
Part-time opportunities will also be considered for this post.
This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.
Main duties of the job
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualised care plans, and regularly review and adjust these plans to meet the evolving needs of young people and their families.
2. Provide educational resources and practical support using evidence-based interventions, fostering a collaborative and recovery-focused environment.
3. Identify potential risks, develop and implement risk management plans, and encourage positive risk-taking to promote growth and resilience.
4. Offer clinical guidance, support, and supervision to team members, promoting best practices and continuous professional development.
5. Participate in activities to improve service effectiveness, contribute to service outcome evaluations, and collaborate with team members to implement improvements

Essential criteria
17. Relevant professional mental health qualification as Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker
18. Current registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC, BACP
19. Evidence of continuous professional development
Desirable criteria
20. Post graduate qualification in therapeutic modality e.g. IAPT CBT
Experience
Essential criteria
21. Experience of being a Care coordinator or managing a case load
22. Significant post qualifying mental health experience.
23. Working knowledge of community services.
