An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Kitchen Porter to join our team, as part of a new café concept. The Goodwood Art Foundation, will showcase world class contemporary artists, their works set in a newly designed landscape by an award winning architect and a leading arts education programme designed by a world leading expert. The Foundation is a new not-for-profit organisation, located on the Goodwood Estate and is scheduled in open to the public in May 2025. As our Kitchen Assistant you’ll be a vital part of our brigade keeping everything moving, during service, whilst keeping the Kitchen equipment clean and tidy, which is key to the delivery of a first-class service. Your normal working days will be Wednesday to Sunday, there may be a requirement to work additional days or hours as necessary. The café will be closed in the evening, except for events. What do you need to be successful? Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage Certificates in Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling and some training in Health and Safety would be desirable but is not essential as training can be given.
