Temporary funded until 20th July 2027
This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and dedicated Private Sector Housing Team. We are a relatively large team delivering a wide range of services that integrate public and private sector partners, creating a bottom-up approach to supporting neighbourhoods, offering real help where it is needed through the empty homes programme, an innovative home improvement agency, landlord enforcement, selective and HMO licensing, the Good Landlord and Agent Accreditation scheme and energy efficiency improvements.
If you would like to be part of improving housing conditions in Burnley and join the selective licensing team at this exciting time you will need to demonstrate in your application form that you meet the criteria detailed in the person specification.
Selective licensing is an extremely busy team continually dealing with a wide range of priorities affecting the private rented sector. You must have experience of working in an administrative section of an organisation and of dealing with customers in person, in writing and on the telephone. You must have the ability to work as part of a team and maintain accurate records.
Burnley is in the heart of beautiful countryside and has excellent transport links and rapidly improving facilities.
