We are seeking an Estates Projects Officer to manage and deliver assigned capital projects and revenue schemes from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing design and procurement processes, managing contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of the Estates Strategy.
About You
1. Strong project management experience in estates or construction.
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
3. Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and Microsoft Project.
4. Ability to analyse complex technical information and problem-solve effectively.
5. Knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include
1. Management of delegated capital and revenue projects from inception through to completion.
2. Prepare design briefs, technical drawings, room data sheets, and specifications.
3. Oversee tender processes, procurement assessments, and financial monitoring.
4. Manage contractors, consultants, and liaise with regulatory bodies.
5. Conduct audits relating to DDA, CQC, and ligature compliance.
6. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, health and safety, and trust policies.
7. Assist with property acquisitions, disposals, leases, and licences.
8. Manage Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems.
9. Lead on product development, project standardisation, and major property remediation insurance claims.
10. Act as Deputy Responsible Person for capital projects in relation to water safety and asbestos.
11. Undertake site inspections, surveys, and audits, ensuring project quality and safety.
