We are Rolls-Royce SMR and we’re doing something that’s never been done before. We’re revolutionising an industry. That’s a once-in-a-career opportunity for those excited by such a challenge. This is more than just a job; this is a legacy.
We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Engineering Capability Coordinator to be involved in an industry-leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
The Engineering Capability group leads engineering activities to establish, maintain, improve and govern policies, processes, codes & standards, research & technology gateways and competency, including access to appropriate libraries, tools and training, and maintenance of memberships and user licences.
The Engineering Capability Group Coordinator is responsible for managing a suite of mechanisms and controls used to assure that group activities are delivered efficiently and effectively. A key aspect of the role is to ensure user licenses are established and maintained in line with programme and strategic requirements, and that associated competency metrics are available and auditable.
In addition to a high-level understanding of the engineering organisation, this role requires strong interpersonal, communication and project management abilities, as necessary to elicit and disseminate requirements, control databases, publish updates or announce opportunities, drive the delivery of solutions and provide colleagues with seamless access to relevant resources.
Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. If you feel you meet 75% of the requirements for this role, we would love to hear from you.
