Description JOB SUMMARY You will be tasked with the Commissioning of Vertiv Thermal products as part of the UK Commissioning team. You will be expected to work extensively with electronic programmers and software, along with electrical and mechanical final set up. You will need extensive in-depth product knowledge, training will be provided to enable this. A commitment to maintaining high commissioning standards is a must, as set out in Vertiv commissioning processes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Excellent knowledge of Thermal discipline • Excellent understanding of electronic controls • Willing to work and lodge away from home for extended periods. • Willing to travel nationwide • Willing to work overseas occasionally. • Able to work long hours as and when requested, often at short notice. • Willing to work weekends when requested. • Comfortable under pressure working to tight deadlines. • Ability to take ownership of given tasks and complete to programme. • Must be a genuine team player. • Complete commitment to H&S and Vertiv policies, and those applicable on site especially on construction sites • Embrace the need for speedy and accurate reporting and communications. • Exercise co-operation and diplomacy when working with other contractors and the customer, under tie pressures. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE • City and Guilds 207 level 2 or equivalent. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on Thermal equipment. • Advantageous if good knowledge of Vertiv Icom3 controls. • Advantageous if experienced on Vertiv Thermal equipment
