Salary £63,079.
Location – Allsop Place, Baker Street, London & Hybrid Working.
Contract Type Fixed Term Contract x 6 Months.
London Underground - Band 3
Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
Overview of project/role
* Develop a competency-based training plan for a safety critical part of the business.
* Responsible for project managing training products including management of design, development and implementation of learning solutions packages.
* Embedding blended learning solutions to the business to meet the complex needs of the business.
Key Accountabilities
* Project manage the completion of new learning solutions including developing and managing a detailed project plan or overall programme content.
* Ensure relevant stakeholder and SME engagement and oversee content production through others. Matrix management of content developers to ensure all materials are developed using the most appropriate format and embracing new learning technology to enhance the offering to the business in terms of learner and business benefits.
* Ensure Trainers are equipped to deliver new and enhanced learning interventions to improve organisational capability.
* Undertake the learning design process on a project or programme basis by working within a team and leading appropriate work streams to evaluate business and organisational change strategies and priorities.
* Design, develop, implement and evaluate small and large scale role-based learning intervention which contribute to organisational change.
* Ensure that all learning solutions have evaluation methodologies embedded and understood by the business to ensure benefits realisation is quantified effectively.
Skills
* Proven ability to influence people at all levels, including both external and internal stakeholders, especially to shape and influence away from traditional classroom based training when not required.
* Strong business and financial acumen to ensure that learning interventions bring business benefits and are delivered at a cost optimum price for the business.
* Ability to speedily analyse complex situations and processes and formulate appropriate learning plans and projects to drive improvement.
Knowledge
* Qualification in Learning and Development/Training at L3 including methodologies for learning design and development or industry equivalent.
* Working knowledge of project management and planning techniques (including risk management).
* Knowledge of continuous improvement, learning quality assurance and enhancement of learning and customer experience.
* Strong business focus with commitment to driving performance, reliability and financial efficiency.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, guidance and good practice.
Experience
* Experience of managing complex projects.
* Experience working in safety critical environments.
* Experience of evaluating learning interventions at all levels.
* Experience of leading operational design in a complex, real-time environment.
