Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist/ Lead Clinician
Location: Roxby House, Scunthorpe
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm
Contract: Permanent
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Practitioner Psychologist to work in a key role as the Lead Clinician for our service. This is a wide and varied role ideal for those looking for a new challenge where you can truly have an impact on shaping a service and driving change.
About the role:
The successful applicant would lead, manage and where appropriate, clinically supervise the clinicians and assistant practitioners in our multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists to ensure we meet the complex and diverse needs of the people we support. Our team, which also includes Psychiatry, is well embedded and works in a highly collaborative way with our Care colleagues including our Registered managers, House Managers, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
As an experienced Practitioner Psychologist, the post-holder will offer bespoke assessment, formulation, and interventions working within a whole-systems as well as individual and consolidative approaches.
As Lead Clinician, you would be responsible for the day-to-day service provision and line management of staff in the Clinical Team, working closely with the Clinical Locality Lead to provide an effective, high-quality service.
Working independently within the overall framework of the services policies and procedures, you will support the adults in our service to develop a better quality of life. You will work within existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support the services in future development and ensure quality assurance.

Minimum Requirements:
* Professional qualification in Psychology (including post-graduate qualifications at Masters and/or Doctorate level).
* Experience of working with adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern).
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Additional experience and ideally qualifications in leadership and management.
