Responsibilities:
1. Maintain standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure the efficient operation of the outlet in accordance with Company policy.
2. Ensure that guests’ needs and expectations are met by providing an efficient and professional service.
3. Promote the identity of the outlet by building rapport and a sense of personalized service towards guests.
4. Make recommendations to the Outlet Manager for modernization of equipment, service methods, presentation, and improved guest satisfaction.
5. Coordinate with colleagues regarding operational problems.
6. Participate in regular meetings and briefings, as scheduled.
7. Understand and abide by all safety rules, emergency procedures, and fire prevention regulations.
8. Ensure food presentation and quality meet specified standards.
9. Pick up food from the kitchen without delay.
10. Acknowledge all guests at the time of arrival and departure.
11. Ensure all staff follows the specified sequence of service and service times.
12. Communicate all special offers or promotions to the staff.
13. Communicate with fellow supervisors or managers during shift change.
14. Ensure good organization for smooth operation by using the opening, closing, and refreshment checklist and service standards set in the Module.
15. Implement and maintain the set standard according to the Module.
16. Support the team in any circumstances.
17. Organize station assignments (Staff Deployment) before operations start.
18. Perform on-the-job training using the service standards.
19. Control cost-effectiveness aspects of the business.
20. Ensure a prompt and consistent high standard of repair and maintenance via the Café manager and project department.
21. Crosscheck and verify the accuracy of the data provided by cafes after inventories.
22. Coordinate with other Outlet Managers regarding operational problems.
23. Conduct regular meetings and briefings to keep employees informed of policies, procedures, special events, and action plans.
Sales and Marketing:
1. Keep track of Google Ratings, Instagram Feedback, Tripadvisor & Delivery Marketplace Ratings.
2. Be fully aware of the Chocoberry concept to promote the Brand.
Human Resources:
1. Ensure employees report for duty on time; break times are followed by everyone.
2. Check and correct personal grooming and uniform adherence at all times.
3. Assist the manager with the monthly Attendance record.
4. Maintain and control internal policies and procedures.
5. Provide feedback to the manager on staff performance.
6. Liaise with the training department regarding staff training requirements.
7. Set goals for staff members prior to each shift.
8. Assist the manager with periodic staff ratings.
9. Maintain positive morale within the department.
10. Spend time before, during, and after each shift training new staff members.
Administration:
1. Ensure that all departmental checklists are completed correctly.
2. Ensure proper requisitioning and controlling of food & beverage, operation, and guest supplies.
3. Handle daily cash and cash float.
4. Perform monthly inventory and follow up on expiry procedures.
5. Handle all assigned administration tasks (keep good record of admin purchases, receivables, etc.).
