Lead on the delivery of the adult safeguarding agenda as per the Trusts Safeguarding Policies. Ensure Safeguarding Referrals/concerns are compliant with current guidelines demonstrating a good understanding of the Safeguarding Adults procedures Communicate Safeguarding Adult matters across the Trust and communicate effectively with clients, relatives, staff and managers, both verbally and in writing and as appropriate. Be highly visible across the Trust and act as a resource to empower staff. Implement and evaluate practice in accordance with the Trusts governance framework ensuring an annual audit programme is in place. Support the Lead Professional for Safeguarding on the publication of the Trusts safeguarding Annual report. Lead on implementing findings from Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SAR), Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR) or in cases where lessons to learn are necessary. Ensure the Duty of Candour is applied.
