Job summary The post holder will work as part of the Practice Development Team, leading in the planning of practice placements for learners across the Trust. They will ensure that high quality clinical placements are maintained for the full range of students/learners undertaking education and training within nursing throughout the Trust. This will include growing the Trust's clinical placement capacity. The post holder will ensure that the principles that guide practice placements and Mentor and Practice Supervisor (PS) and Assessor (PA) preparation reflect the Trust commitment to quality, safety and patient experience, and that these are embedded into all clinical practice. The post holder will lead on partnership working across all key stakeholders involved in the development and training of nursing staff and coordinate the provision of and further development and expansion of quality practice placement opportunities for learners that meet the standards of Health Education England, the NMC and HCPC.
