The main objective of this post is to support the administrative functioning to ensure the smooth day-to-day operational running of the department.
This is a full time role; 37.5 hours / cross site travel will be required (SACH / WGH) and line management experience is essential for this role.
The successful post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all administration related to the business of the Department is organized and completed in a timely fashion.
The post holder will have specific responsibilities for managing the team of medical secretaries, theatre utilization of urology lists, complaints, cancer reports, rota management and medical staff recruitment within the Department.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
