The role of a Legal PA is to work as part of the Practice Group Support team to provide professional and proactive support to key law professionals and Partners.
You will be joining a team that is known for their commitment to teams, events, and career development plans. They are award-winning for their employment engagement initiatives.
Some key responsibilities:
1. Client focused with regular meetings with stakeholders
2. Diary management
3. Supporting case matters
4. Organising and planning meetings, arranging for necessary equipment and refreshments using the technology (on and off site)
5. Managing and prioritising your own workload
6. Acting as a liaison point for colleagues and clients
7. Supporting and speaking with clients - dealing with queries for legal professionals
8. Management of emails and correspondence
9. Preparing and submitting expenses
10. Opening / closing of case files
11. Utilising CRM as a key business tool, including managing, updating, reporting, and research
12. Providing comprehensive financial administrative support to stakeholders; ensuring compliance with legal, firm-wide policies and procedures
13. Assisting the team on business development follow-ups, sending emails and diarising important client call backs
14. Marketing and business development related activities
Skills and Experience needed:
1. Experience of working within a similar environment as a PA, Legal PA or Legal Secretary
2. Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior team members
3. Seeks to provide an outstanding level of client services at all times
4. Good relationship building skills, both internal and external
5. Ability to delegate and manage own workloads
6. Strong team ethic; offer to support where necessary
7. Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications including Outlook and Teams
