Salary and Benefits
£34,000 a year with an annual £1,000 contribution towards continuous professional development, along with 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).

Who we are looking for:
The Head Instructor will bring a significant amount of expertise to the table and play a pivotal role in taking an established and respected operation to the next level in terms of delivery output and ongoing business development.
The successful candidate will be well versed in the inner workings of an activity centre / outdoor education delivery and hold demonstrable aptitude for paddlesports and land-based activities including Duke of Edinburgh Award coordination and programme development for a broad range of groups and individuals, including vulnerable adults and additional learning support needs.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Senior leadership for delivery team
2. Cleanliness and presentation, Health & Safety and security of entire site
3. Development and implementation of new business ventures in collaboration with Head of Operations / Chief Executive Officer
4. Quality Assurance including that of the delivery team and product
5. Equipment Management including overall safety, sourcing and disposal using responsible means
6. Responsible for all instructor continuous Professional Development and annual Personal Development Reviews
7. Direct Line manager of all Activity Based Staff

Multiple personal performance award provider (Essential)

All applicants must have a clean UK driving licence and a Level 3 First Aid Course (or be willing to obtain before commencing work).
