Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to join our team full-time, teaching a Year 1 class. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring teacher to begin their career in a supportive setting, working with experienced colleagues who are committed to professional development and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and growth.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the curriculum.
- Engage with parents and carers to communicate students' progress and achievements.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.
Pay Scale:
The role will be paid to scale in accordance with the teacher pay framework.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by January.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management and planning.
