Hours: Monday to Thursday (38 Hours)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Bicester, supporting the assembly, installation, and maintenance of advanced electrical systems for zero-emission vehicles. This role involves working with high-voltage systems, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Install, test, and commission electrical components and systems on zero-emission vehicles.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring vehicles meet performance and safety standards.
Work with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including batteries and control units.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation of new electrical technologies.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and ensure quality control.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electrical Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within the automotive, EV, or heavy vehicle industry.
Strong understanding of high-voltage systems, CAN bus networks, and vehicle wiring.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
Awareness of health and safety regulations related to electrical systems.
Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles.
Knowledge of battery management systems and power electronics.
