QED Legal's client, one of the country's leading international law practices, has a requirement for an employment solicitor with at least two years post qualifying experience, ideally with a ranked legal 500 practice, a niche commercial practice, or perhaps work outside of Scotland currently and be looking to return home.
As previously mentioned, you will take on a predominantly respondent caseload for an incredibly impressive client bank. These clients are not restricted to Scotland, so candidates keen to work with cross-border, including city, clients are encouraged to apply.
You will have a good track record at tribunal, as the role will involve work of this type with the remainder of your caseload being made up of TUPE advice and client advisory work. Our client genuinely believes in avoiding contentious matters for their client bank and as such provides a regular, on-site service for a number of their larger clients.
Opportunity for advancement will by no means be restricted as you will operate in a team that is not associate or senior associate-heavy.
