Business Development Manager, AGCN (Chelmsford, UK)

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for the AGCN business. This role will be based in our Chelmsford office working hybridly.

What the day will look like
1. Establish contact and develop relationships at the highest level within the client’s company, for the main prospects in the area.
2. Develop an understanding and appreciation of the prospect’s business in relation to what they do and the pressure met within that industry sector.
3. Establish the client’s needs and articulate Aon’s risk management solutions for those needs in a professional way, utilizing Aon’s sector knowledge where available.
4. Pass on knowledge of the client’s business and background to the new Aon service team, for cases won.
5. Work with the existing team to pro-actively find gaps in cover and potential underinsurance.
6. Sell from across the full range of Aon services to develop revenue streams and build trust in Aon’s services.
7. Work with Project Management and Broking to ensure Aon delivers on our initial proposition.
8. Liaise with the Claims community to establish our Claims proposition for each new client.
9. Participate, and where required, lead service proposition proposals to prospects.
10. Produce clear meeting minutes in good time of client visits.
11. Issue an Information Pack prior to liability being incurred, to all new clients.
12. Produce a compliant report prior to inception for cases won, outlining all demands and needs clearly describing Aon’s proposed solutions.
You will be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.
